Curriculum Innovation

We have particular expertise in facilitating curriculum innovation.  Clients include national governments, local or regional governments, clusters of schools, individual schools or individual departments or classes at primary and secondary level.  We have successfully supported the design of engaging and rigorous curriculums that will equip young people with the skills they need to thrive in the 21st Century.

We enable schools to design their own curriculum (rather than buying an off-the-shelf product) based on tried and tested principles and methodologies.  Our curriculum development work is always guided by our five principles: student engagement and ownership, curriculum coverage, progression in skills, connected learning and creativity, ensuring a perfect balance between engagement and rigour.  Designed around the individual requirements of each school, recent work in this area has included:

  • Design a curriculum in a day
  • Involving students in curriculum co-planning
  • Getting buy-in from staff for curriculum innovation
  • Developing engaging curriculum projects from start to finish
  • Planning cross-curricular learning experiences
  • Embedding the personal, learning and thinking skills across the curriculum
  • Developing resources for a creative curriculum
  • International trends in curriculum development
